Youth Climate Accelerator is a six-month program that seeks to inspire, prepare, and mobilize the next generation of African climate leaders who provide sustainable solutions to the climate problems facing Africa and our planet through holistic training and mentorship. The Youth Climate accelerator empowers and expands the role of African youths in climate action by connecting them to resources and engaging them as equal stakeholders in driving global climate change response. We work with young African change makers aged 13 to 29 who are leading social climate projects and programs in their communities. During the six-month pro-active program, our fellows gain skills and experience in climate action, resource mobilization, community engagement for action, and collaborate with coaches and mentors to co-design and implement climate-based initiatives that have a positive and sustainable community impact.
